To take part in Commencement and Degree Celebrations, you will need a set of regalia matching your degree level. Information is below on how to purchase or rent regalia for the event.

Get Your Regalia
Regalia will be available for order at the Winter Graduation Fair, November 6th and 7th. Starting November 8th, it will also be available online and in person at the George Mason Bookstore at the Fairfax Campus and Mason Square while in stock. Please see your regalia type below for deadlines.
Bachelors and Masters Regalia
Regalia is available for purchase in person at the George Mason Bookstore until graduation, while supplies last.

Doctoral Regalia
Doctoral candidates can rent doctoral regalia. It is strongly recommended you go to the Bookstore for measurements.
Due to hurricane Helene, doctoral gowns will not be available for purchase, only rentals will be available.

The last day for online regalia orders will be Wednesday, November 27th. After this deadline, all regalia orders must happen in-store, with a late fee of $25. The last day for student doctoral rentals to submit their order in-store is Tuesday, December 3rd.
Rental regalia must be returned to the Bookstore by December 20th.

The last day for faculty regalia orders is Wednesday, November 25th. Faculty may order after this date, up until December 3rd, with a $25 late fee. Rentals can be picked up starting December 13th, and must be returned by December 20th.
