High School Graduations at EagleBank Arena, May 24 to June 13
Heavy traffic is expected on and near the Fairfax Campus from May 24 through June 13 due to high school graduation celebrations at EagleBank Arena.
With multiple ceremonies most days, traffic will be entering and exiting campus from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., so please allow for extra travel time.

Prospective Staff Senator Information Session
The June Staff Senate Meeting will feature a Prospective Staff Senator Information Session and the Mason Staff Senate Recognition Ceremony, co-sponsored by the Staff Senate Executive Committee and Human Resources.
Wednesday, June 7

10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – General Meeting and Prospective Staff Senator Information Session
11 a.m. to noon – Ceremony
Constituents are invited to attend in person in Merten Hall, Room 1201, or via Zoom.
The Staff Senate represents all classified and non-student wage employees at George Mason University. Working closely with university administration, the senate addresses concerns that have an impact on the quality of work-life for the Mason community. The work of the senate is accomplished through open and continuous communication with its constituents. Find more ways to engage with the senate before, during, and after general meetings.

Fairfax Parking Services Office: Hours Change
The Fairfax Parking Services office will close for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. each day except for the first two weeks of the fall and spring semesters. If you have any questions, please call 703-993-2710 or email parking@gmu.edu.
New Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Prompt
Information Technology Services (ITS) is upgrading the Duo application used for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). The upgrade results in a new look for the Duo prompt users receive when verifying their identities.
The new prompt already appears when using 2FA during sign-in to the Patriot Pass Password Management site. On Sunday, June 11, the new prompt will be added for applications using ADFS, including Office 365, Zoom, and the Student Health Services Portal, and Central Authentication Service (CAS) and Shibboleth, including websites like myMason, Patriot Web, and Parking Services.

Reminder: Metro Orange Line Platform Work this Summer
Construction work will occur on Metro’s Orange Line over the summer. Stations between Ballston and Vienna will be affected through July 16. For information on the project, including WMATA shuttle service while some stations are closed, visit the WMATA website. An overview of all planned Metrorail track work is available.

The U.S. Army Blues, part of the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” is the premier jazz ensemble of the U.S. Army. After informal beginnings in 1970, this 18-piece ensemble became an official element of the Army Band in 1972. The Army Blues strive to fulfill their mission through public concerts, educational outreach, and the preservation of the tradition of America’s unique art form: jazz.

The Mike Kamuf Little Big Band is a jazz ensemble that brings together eight talented musicians from the Washington, D.C/Baltimore region. The group’s repertoire consists of original compositions and arrangements penned by MIke Kamuf, as well as jazz standards and selections from the Great American Songbook.

Warren Wolf is a multi-instrumentalist from Baltimore, Maryland. From age 3, Wolf has been trained on the vibraphone/marimba, drums, and piano. Under the guidance of his father, Warren Wolf Sr., he has a deep background in all genres of music from classical to ragtime to jazz.
