Campus Visit Options

At George Mason, we offer a wide variety of visit options including information sessions, tours, and more at various times throughout the week.

On-Campus Information Sessions & Tours

The visit consists of a 30-minute information session with an admissions staff member. That is followed by exploring campus through either an Ambassador-led tour or a self-guided tour with a provided map.

On-Campus Visit Experiences

For these visits, the primary focus is the guided campus tour with a current student and Mason Ambassador. It consists of a brief introduction, walking tour, and follow-up information session with an admissions staff member. We recommend allotting at least two hours for the engaging experience.

Academic College/ Major Specific Visits

Discover George Mason’s colleges and schools, which offer 78 undergraduate degrees covering all academic areas, as well as opportunities to craft your own course of study. These visits are specific to academic programs at George Mason and consist of an information session followed by a guided Ambassador tour of on-campus facilities related to your program of choice.

Group Experiences for K-8th Grade and High School Groups and Organizations

We are pleased to offer group tour experiences throughout the academic year. The minimum group size for all group tours is 25 students, and scheduling priority is given to groups of under-resourced students.

At this time, our fall visit calendar is open. If you would like information on booking a visit in the fall of 2024, please visit our group tour page below.
