Biography
William Martin received a BS in mechanical engineering from Geneva College, and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Martin worked as an engineer for the Calgon Corporation, and has taught English in the People's Republic of China.
Following law school, Martin clerked for the Honorable Joseph F. Weis, Jr., on the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He joined the Department of Justice through the Attorney General's Honors Program in 2001. While working in the Dallas Field Office of the Antitrust Division, he prosecuted individuals and corporations for criminal violations of the antitrust laws and other white collar crime. He is still with the Antitrust Division, but in the Washington, D.C., office, focusing on civil antitrust enforcement. He has been a contributor to the ABA Antitrust Law Developments since 2007.
