New central phone number for Mason Student Services Center provides fast access to support
The Mason Student Services Center (MSSC) has launched a new, central telephone number to streamline access to six, high-volume student support offices.
Through this central number, 703-993-2000, callers will be routed to the proper office based on need: the Mason Student Services Center, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Student Financial Aid, Student Accounts and the Registrar.
As of Jan. 5, the new number has received over 3,800 calls, routing to these offices.
“While seemingly small, this is actually a major step toward our goal of centralizing inbound telephone operations for the MSSC and all of our partner offices,” said Executive Director of Enrollment Services Andrew Bunting. “I am grateful to all who worked on this project to improve our service to students.”
The specific phone numbers for each of these offices remain operational. The goal is to better serve students seeking access to these related departments with a central—and easy to remember—contact number.
